YUSUFALI: Have We not expanded thee thy breast?-
2
YUSUFALI: And removed from thee thy burden
3
YUSUFALI: The which did gall thy back?-
4
YUSUFALI: And raised high the esteem (in which) thou (art held)?
5
YUSUFALI: So, verily, with every difficulty, there is relief:
6
YUSUFALI: Verily, with every difficulty there is relief.
7
YUSUFALI: Therefore, when thou art free (from thine immediate task), still labour hard,
8
YUSUFALI: And to thy Lord turn (all) thy attention

93-سورة الضّحَى
بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
وَالضُّحَى (۱) وَالَّيْلِ إِذَا سَجَى (۲) مَا وَدَّعَكَ رَبُّكَ وَمَا قَلَى (۳) وَلَلاخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لَكَ مِنَ الأُولَى (٤) وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَى (۵) أَلَمْ يَجِدْكَ يَتِيماً فَآوَى (۶) وَوَجَدَكَ ضَإلاّ فَهَدَى (۷) وَوَجَدَكَ عَائِلاً فَأَغْنَى (۸) فَأَمَّا الْيَتِيمَ فَلَا تَقْهَرْ (۹) وَأَمَّا السَّائِلَ فَلَا تَنْهَرْ (۱۰) وَأَمَّا بِنِعْمَةِ رَبِّكَ فَحَدِّثْ (۱۱)
به نام خداوند بخشندهي مهربان
1. سوگند به روشنايي روز،
2. سوگند به شب چون آرام گيرد،
3. [كه] پروردگارت تو را وانگذاشته، و دشمن نداشته است.
4. و قطعاً آخرت براي تو از دنيا نيكوتر خواهد بود.
5. و بزودي پروردگارت تو را عطا خواهد داد، تا خرسند گردي.
6. مگر نه تو را يتيم يافت، پس پناه داد؟
7. و تو را سرگشته يافت، پس هدايت كرد؟
8. و تو را تنگدست يافت و بينياز گردانيد؟
9. و اما [تو نيز به پاس نعمت ما] يتيم را ميازار،
10. و گدا را مران،
11. و از نعمت پروردگار خويش [با مردم] سخن گوي.

YUSUFALI: By the Glorious Morning Light,
2
YUSUFALI: And by the Night when it is still,-
3
YUSUFALI: Thy Guardian-Lord hath not forsaken thee, nor is He displeased.
4
YUSUFALI: And verily the Hereafter will be better for thee than the present.
5
YUSUFALI: And soon will thy Guardian-Lord give thee (that wherewith) thou shalt be well-pleased.
6
YUSUFALI: Did He not find thee an orphan and give thee shelter (and care)?
7
YUSUFALI: And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance.
8
YUSUFALI: And He found thee in need, and made thee independent.
9
YUSUFALI: Therefore, treat not the orphan with harshness,
10
YUSUFALI: Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard);
11
YUSUFALI: But the bounty of the Lord - rehearse and proclaim

92-سورة اللّيل
بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى (۱) وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّى (۲) وَمَا خَلَقَ الذَّكَرَ وَالآنثَى (۳) إِنَّ سَعْيَكُمْ لَشَتَّى (٤) فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَى وَاتَّقَى (۵) وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَى (۶) فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْيُسْرَى (۷) وَأَمَّا مَنْ بَخِلَ وَاسْتَغْنَى (۸) وَكَذَّبَ بِالْحُسْنَى (۹) فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْعُسْرَى (۱۰) وَمَا يُغْنِي عَنْهُ مَالُهُ إِذَا تَرَدَّى (۱۱) إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا لَلْهُدَى (۱۲) وَإِنَّ لَنَا لَلآخِرَةَ وَالآولَى (۱۳) فَأَنذَرْتُكُمْ نَاراً تَلَظَّى (۱٤) لاَ يَصْلاَهَا إلاّ الآشْقَى (۱۵) الَّذِي كَذَّبَ وَتَوَلَّى (۱۶) وَسَيُجَنَّبُهَا الأَتْقَى (۱۷) الَّذِي يُؤْتِي مَالَهُ يَتَزَكَّى (۱۸) وَمَا لِأَحَدٍ عِندَهُ مِن نِعْمَةٍ تُجْزَى (۱۹) إلاّ ابْتِغَاءَ وَجْهِ رَبِّهِ الأَعْلَى (۲۰) وَلَسَوْفَ يَرْضَى (۲۱)
به نام خداوند بخشنده ي مهربان
1. سوگند به شب چون پرده افكند،
2. سوگند به روز چون جلوه گري آغازد،
3. و [سوگند به] آنكه نر و ماده را آفريد،
4. كه همانا تلاش شما پراكنده است.
5. اما آنكه [حق خدا را] داد و پروا داشت،
6. و [پاداش] نيكوتر را تصديق كرد،
7. بزودي راه آساني پيش پاي او خواهيم گذاشت.
8. و اما آنكه بخل ورزيد و خود را بي نياز ديد،
9. و [پاداش] نيكوتر را به دروغ گرفت،
10. بزودي راه دشواري به او خواهيم نمود.
11. و چون هلاك شد، [ديگر] مال او به كارش نمي آيد.
12. همانا هدايت بر ماست.
13. و در حقيقت، دنيا و آخرت از آن ماست.
14. پس شما را به آتشي كه زبانه ميكشد هشدار دادم.

YUSUFALI: By the Night as it conceals (the light);
2
YUSUFALI: By the Day as it appears in glory;
3
YUSUFALI: By (the mystery of) the creation of male and female;-
4
YUSUFALI: Verily, (the ends) ye strive for are diverse.
5
YUSUFALI: So he who gives (in charity) and fears (Allah),
6
YUSUFALI: And (in all sincerity) testifies to the best,-
7
YUSUFALI: We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Bliss.
8
YUSUFALI: But he who is a greedy miser and thinks himself self-sufficient,
9
YUSUFALI: And gives the lie to the best,-
10
YUSUFALI: We will indeed make smooth for him the path to Misery;
11
YUSUFALI: Nor will his wealth profit him when he falls headlong (into the Pit).
12
YUSUFALI: Verily We take upon Ourselves to guide,
13
YUSUFALI: And verily unto Us (belong) the End and the Beginning.
14
YUSUFALI: Therefore do I warn you of a Fire blazing fiercely

91-سورة الشمس
وَالشَّمْسِ وَضُحَاهَا (۱) وَالْقَمَرِ إِذَا تَلاَهَا (۲) وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا جَلاَّهَا (۳) وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَاهَا (٤) وَالسَّماءِ وَمَا بَنَاهَا (۵) وَالآرْضِ وَمَا طَحَاهَا (۶) وَنَفْسٍ وَمَا سَوَّاهَا (۷) فَأَلْهَمَهَا فُجُورَهَا وَتَقْوَاهَا (۸) قَدْ أَفْلَحَ مَن زَكَّاهَا (۹) وَقَدْ خَابَ مَن دَسَّاهَا (۱۰) كَذَّبَتْ ثَمُودُ بِطَغْوَاهَا (۱۱) إِذِ انبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا (۱۲) فَقَالَ لَهُمْ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ نَاقَةَ اللَّهِ وَسُقْيَاهَا (۱۳) فَكَذَّبُوهُ فَعَقَرُوهَا فَدَمْدَمَ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُم بِذَنبِهِمْ فَسَوَّاهَا (۱٤) وَلاَ يَخَافُ عُقْبَاهَا (۱۵)
به نام خداوند بخشندهي مهربان
1. سوگند به خورشيد و تابندگياش،
2. سوگند به مه چون پي [خورشيد] رود.
3. سوگند به روز چون [زمين را] روشن گرداند،
4. سوگند به شب چو پرده بر آن پوشد،
5. سوگند به آسمان و آن كس كه آن را برافراشت،
6. سوگند به زمين و آن كس كه آن را گسترد،
7. سوگند به نفس و آن كس كه آن را درست كرد؛
8. سپس پليدكاري و پرهيزگارياش را به آن الهام كرد،
9. كه هر كس آن را پاك گردانيد، قطعاً رستگار شد،
10. و هر كه آلودهاش ساخت، قطعاً درباخت.
11. [قوم] ثمود به سبب طغيان خود به تكذيب پرداختند.
12. آنگاه كه شقيترينشان بر[پا] خاست.
13. پس فرستاده خدا به آنان گفت: «زنهار! مادهشتر خدا و [نوبت] آبخوردنش را [حرمت نهيد]».
14. و[لي] دروغزنش خواندند و آن [ماده شتر] را پي كردند، و پروردگارشان به [سزاي] گناهشان بر سرشان عذاب آورد و آنان را با خاك يكسان كرد.
15. و از پيامد كار خويش، بيمي به خود راه نداد.

YUSUFALI: By the Sun and his (glorious) splendour;
2
YUSUFALI: By the Moon as she follows him;
3
YUSUFALI: By the Day as it shows up (the Sun's) glory;
4
YUSUFALI: By the Night as it conceals it;
5
YUSUFALI: By the Firmament and its (wonderful) structure;
6
YUSUFALI: By the Earth and its (wide) expanse:
7
YUSUFALI: By the Soul, and the proportion and order given to it;
8
YUSUFALI: And its enlightenment as to its wrong and its right;-
9
YUSUFALI: Truly he succeeds that purifies it,
10
YUSUFALI: And he fails that corrupts it!
11
YUSUFALI: The Thamud (people) rejected (their prophet) through their inordinate wrong-doing,
12
YUSUFALI: Behold, the most wicked man among them was deputed (for impiety).
13
YUSUFALI: But the Messenger of Allah said to them: "It is a She-camel of Allah! And (bar her not from) having her drink!"
14
YUSUFALI: Then they rejected him (as a false prophet), and they hamstrung her. So their Lord, on account of their crime, obliterated their traces and made them equal (in destruction, high and low)!
15
YUSUFALI: And for Him is no fear of its consequences

89-سورة الفجر
بِسْمِ اللّهِ الرَّحْمنِ الرَّحِيمِ
وَالْفَجْرِ (۱) وَلَيَالٍ عَشْرٍ (۲) وَالشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِ (۳) وَاللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَسْرِ (٤) هَلْ فِي ذلِكَ قَسَمٌ لِذِي حِجْرٍ (۵) أَلَمْ تَرَ كَيْفَ فَعَلَ رَبُّكَ بِعَادٍ (۶) إِرَمَ ذَاتِ الْعِمَادِ (۷) الَّتِي لَمْ يُخْلَقْ مِثْلُهَا فِي الْبِلاَدِ (۸) وَثَمُودَ الَّذِينَ جَابُوا الصَّخْرَ بِالْوَادِ (۹) وَفِرْعَوْنَ ذِي الآوْتَادِ (۱۰) الَّذِينَ طغَوْا فِي الْبِلاَدِ (۱۱) فَأَكْثَرُوا فِيهَا الْفَسَادَ (۱۲) فَصَبَّ عَلَيْهِمْ رَبُّكَ سَوْطَ عَذَابٍ (۱۳) إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَبِالْمِرْصَادِ (۱٤) فَأَمَّا الإنسَانُ إِذَا مَا ابْتَلاَهُ رَبُّهُ فَأَكْرَمَهُ وَنَعَّمَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَكْرَمَنِ (۱۵) وَأَمَّا إِذَا مَا ابْتَلاَهُ فَقَدَرَ عَلَيْهِ رِزْقَهُ فَيَقُولُ رَبِّي أَهَانَنِ (۱۶) كَلَّا بَلْ لَا تُكْرِمُونَ الْيَتِيمَ (۱۷) وَلاَ تَحَاضُّونَ عَلَى طَعَامِ الْمِسْكِينِ (۱۸) وَتَأْكُلُونَ التُّرَاثَ أَكْلاً لَمّاً (۱۹) وَتُحِبُّونَ الْمَالَ حُبّاً جَمّاً (۲۰) كَلَّا إِذَا دُكَّتِ الآرْضُ دَكّاً دَكّاً (۲۱) وَجَاءَ رَبُّكَ وَالْمَلَكُ صَفّاً صَفّاً (۲۲) وَجِيءَ يَوْمَئِذٍ بِجَهَنَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَتَذَكَّرُ الإنسَانُ وَأَنَّى لَهُ الذِّكْرَى (۲۳) يَقُولُ يَا لَيْتَنِي قَدَّمْتُ لِحَيَاتِي (۲٤) فَيَوْمَئِذٍ لَا يُعَذِّبُ عَذَابَهُ أَحَدٌ (۲۵) وَلاَ يُوثِقُ وَثَاقَهُ أَحَدٌ (۲۶) يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ (۲۷) ارْجِعِي إِلَى رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً (۲۸) فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي (۲۹) وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي (۳۰)
به نام خداوند بخشندهي مهربان
1. سوگند به سپيدهدم،
2. و به شبهاي دهگانه،
3. و به جفت و تاق،
4. و به شب، وقتي سپري شود.
5. آيا در اين، براي خردمند [نياز به] سوگندي [ديگر] است؟
6. مگر ندانستهاي كه پروردگارت با عاد چه كرد؟
7. صاحب [بناهايي چون] تيرك هاي بلند،
8. كه مانندش در شهرها ساخته نشده بود؟
9. و با ثمود، همانان كه در درّه، تختهسنگها را ميبريدند؟
10. و با فرعون، صاحب خرگاهها [و بناهاي بلند]؟
11. همانان كه در شهرها سر به طغيان برداشتند،
12. و در آنها بسيار تبهكاري كردند.
13. [تا آنكه] پروردگارت بر سر آنان تازيانه عذاب را فرونواخت،
14. زيرا پروردگار تو سخت در كمين است.
15. اما انسان، هنگامي كه پروردگارش وي را ميآزمايد، و عزيزش ميدارد و نعمت فراوان به او ميدهد، ميگويد: «پروردگارم مرا گرامي داشته است.»
16. و اما چون وي را ميآزمايد و روزياش را بر او تنگ ميگرداند، ميگويد: «پروردگارم مرا خوار كرده است.»
17. ولي نه، بلكه يتيم را نمينوازيد؛
18. و بر خوراك [دادن] بينوا همديگر را بر نميانگيزيد؛
19. و ميراث [ضعيفان] را چپاولگرانه ميخوريد؛
20. و مال را دوست داريد، دوست داشتني بسيار.
21. نه چنان است، آنگاه كه زمين، سخت در هم كوبيده شود،
22. و [فرمان] پروردگارت و فرشته [ها] صفدرصف آيند،
23. و جهنم را در آن روز [حاضر] آورند، آن روز است كه انسان پند گيرد؛ و[لي] كجا او را جاي پندگرفتن باشد؟

YUSUFALI: By the break of Day

YUSUFALI: By the Nights twice five;
3
YUSUFALI: By the even and odd (contrasted);
4
YUSUFALI: And by the Night when it passeth away;-
5
YUSUFALI: Is there (not) in these an adjuration (or evidence) for those who understand?
6
YUSUFALI: Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the 'Ad (people),-
7
YUSUFALI: Of the (city of) Iram, with lofty pillars,
8
YUSUFALI: The like of which were not produced in (all) the land?
9
YUSUFALI: And with the Thamud (people), who cut out (huge) rocks in the valley?-
10
YUSUFALI: And with Pharaoh, lord of stakes?
11
YUSUFALI: (All) these transgressed beyond bounds in the lands,
12
YUSUFALI: And heaped therein mischief (on mischief).
13
YUSUFALI: Therefore did thy Lord pour on them a scourge of diverse chastisements:
14
YUSUFALI: For thy Lord is (as a Guardian) on a watch-tower.
15
YUSUFALI: Now, as for man, when his Lord trieth him, giving him honour and gifts, then saith he, (puffed up), "My Lord hath honoured me."
16
YUSUFALI: But when He trieth him, restricting his subsistence for him, then saith he (in despair), "My Lord hath humiliated me!"
17
YUSUFALI: Nay, nay! but ye honour not the orphans!
18
YUSUFALI: Nor do ye encourage one another to feed the poor!-
19
YUSUFALI: And ye devour inheritance - all with greed,
20
YUSUFALI: And ye love wealth with inordinate love!
21
YUSUFALI: Nay! When the earth is pounded to powder,
22
YUSUFALI: And thy Lord cometh, and His angels, rank upon rank,
23
YUSUFALI: And Hell, that Day, is brought (face to face),- on that Day will man remember, but how will that remembrance profit him

شکر خدا را بجاي آور هر کس شکرگزاري کند، تنها به سود خويش شکر کرده؛ و آن کس که کفران کند، (زياني به خدا نميرساند)؛ چرا که خداوند بينياز و ستوده است.
